Kate Yates joins Christian Enquiry Agency

Gareth Squire has announced that Kate Yates, who was key in the Set All Free project which recently came to a conclusion, has been appointed for 12 months to work alongside him at the Christian Enquiry Agency. CEA is undergoing a review of how it serves the church and Kate will be a key part of the agency develops.

WCC looking for Evangelism Consultant

Jacques Matthey from the World Council of Churches has notified us of a new post they are seeking to fill: a conultant on evangelism who will scope the different models of evangelism in various parts of the world, based in Geneva. Krish Kandia joins EA

Krish Kandia is the new Churches in Mission director for the Evangelical Alliance in England and has a blog and biography: http://krishk.wordpress.com/bio/

This is a significant and long awaited appointment in evangelism network. Krish's blog has the strap line 'writing, thinking, empowering' which indicates some of his priorities. He has written the book 'Destiny: what is life all about?' which is also described on the blog.

'Olympics Tsar' appointed

The Church of England have taken a lead in appointing a 'Tsar' for the Olympic Games. Duncan Green has been appointed to work across the Anglican dioceses, and will be a focal person for all the churches preparing for the 2012 Olympic Games.
