Fiona Castle is patron of Chrysalis who provides a wide variety of music styles in evangelistic events. To illustrate a classical performance, they have a taster at lunchtime in Chesham on October 29th for event planners. Jo Foster is the contact on 01494 581115.
Jo Foster phoned yesterday to tell us about the Chrysalis Arts Trust based in Chesham, with various items of news. One is that Fiona Castle has agreed to be their Patron, the other is that they are available to play for 'first step' evangelistic events. You can hear sample music and see pictures on their website:
Plainsong is top of the classics chart .. not the most obvious evangelism headline and I hesitated about adding it to Evangelism UK. The London based 'Still Time' Jazz band is available to churches who want a mission event with a difference, performing such repertoires as 'The Gospel According to Gershwin'. Meaningful songs performed by professional musicians who want to share their Christian faith, are led by Mike Roberts who explains between songs what the songs and the Gospel is about.
Using well known and specially written songs, the 'Still Time' band produce a classic sound which appeals to all tastes.
