Fresh Horizons is the title given to the Baptist initiative to equip and facilitate mission with older people. They have new dates for their training tour, and a scheme for newly retired people to help other churches:

Bonnie Yule-Kuehne, the UK Development Director at Alpha says that the above event, designed for older people aged 65 and over, will be held at Holy Trinity Brompton on Friday 16th November 2007 from 12.00 - 15.30. Ideal for running in churches, retirement homes, sheltered accomodation etc, the classic Alpha material is given a new approach. The question for the afternoon is 'how do we go about this?' The Baptist Union of Great Britain have launched a download resource called 'Fresh Horizons' which helps 3rd age seniors get involved in mission and ministry. Ideas, examples and resources with testimonies are included in another resource to help with outreach with older people.
